Spectators

Follow the whole event
from a browser.

Most people at a pickleball event will never install an app. Scan the QR or say the code out loud, and they get the schedule, their next match, the live score and the bracket — on whatever phone is already in their hand.

Type the code

Every PickleCue event has a six-character code the organizer can read out. It is deliberately short enough to say across a court.

Six characters. No zero, one, I or O — they are left out so a code cannot be misheard.

Or scan the QR

Organizers print a QR poster for the desk and the fence. It opens the same page. Nothing to install, nothing to sign up for.

Nothing to install

The public event page is an ordinary web page. It works on an old Android, a borrowed laptop, or the club's TV in the corner.

Where the score comes from

One person keeps score. Everyone else just watches.

The organizer hands a court to a scorekeeper. That person taps the score on their own phone — no account needed, they hold a claim code for that court. The number moves at the same moment on the players' phones, on the public page, on the board at the venue and on the iPhone Lock Screen.

Common questions

Do I need an account?

No. Following an event in a browser needs no account and costs nothing. Creating and running the event is part of PickleCue Pro.

Does it update by itself?

Yes. Scores appear as they are entered — you do not have to refresh.

Can I share the link?

Yes. The event address is a normal link and unfurls with a preview card in Messages, WhatsApp, Slack and Discord.

Running the event, not watching it?

Brackets, standings, check-in, scorekeepers and the public page all come from the same app. Free on iPhone in the United States.
